Bidra med feedbackWe called here because the restaurant our friends had planned to take us to on the edge of town was closed. What a result! We loved this place. It’s a very traditional country trattoria serving traditional food with an emphasis on the superb local prosciuto. All of the food was excellent, portions generous and very reasonable prices. The couple running the place were extremely friendly and service was very good. Really, this is the sort to of place you worry you may never find anymore in the modern age. It’s like sitting in somebody’s parlour and being served great home cooked food. My advice is go there and enjoy!
We had a quiet dinner. Fish was very good but a very small portion. Food home cooked. I did not make a fuss, but we orderd a litre of wine as listed on the menu and got a 750 ml bottle. Not a big deal but should be a litre if a litre is on the menu.
Recommended by members of my family who live nearby and we sat together in a group of ten. This place has an easy going atmosphere, feels like a traditional trattoria (as it is) and serves delicious local specialities including the famous San Daniele prosciutto crudo and others besides with minimal fuss and no pretension. Service was first rate and the waitress was able to help me with my faltering Italian. I'm looking forward to visiting again sometime soon.
