Cucina Italiana Il Piccolo

If you're in San Cristobal and looking for an authentic Italian meal Il Piccolo is it. Owned and run by a father and son team, Angelo and his son Leonardo whom are both from Italy. My favorite was the Brochetta Mixta Fettucinni Carbonara which was better than what I have had in Italy. In the week we were in San Cristobal we ate here 3 times! Need I say more?

I had the lasagna. It was delicious and a huge portion. We also shared a very nice salad that was plenty for two people. The service was great too.

I visited this place bc I wanted italian food and it was ok, nothing great and it was also a bit expensive.

Who knew you could find good Italian food in Chiapas? This place is the real deal, and Antonio and his son Leonardo are very friendly. A great choice if your gringo gut is feeling a bit queasy from the local cuisine. Not cheap by Chiapas standards, but not unreasonable either.
