La Tiendita - San Clemente

Food is great. Love the huge portions! Not too many authentic Mexican style food in San Clemente, but this is great. Small business, lots of space. Drinks are a little expensive. But great lunch!

Stopped by this beautiful small humiliating facility on the way back from the campsite. We found exactly what we were looking for, an authentic Mexican food. Especially the Menudo! The Chilaquiles we have. The hospitality of the people who work or own here was amazing. Very nice people. Definitely over again on our next trip.

Good food and great prices, great menu, so I have to try to give it 5 stars again

Always great authentic Mexican cuisine. This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants for the taste and quality of food. You don't always get the crowd right. You can order two street cups and end with three. It was a little cool on the day I was there as they have a habit of keeping the front door open in the windows even on cool days.

I really like this place. The food is great quality, really authentic. The place is a little run down, frankly it’s extremely authentic a real hole in wall kind of place. The staff is very nice and the menu is great. They also offer Jarritos soda and Arizona which I like. The price is very affordable definitely one of the most affordable places to get a breakfast burrito in San Clemente. Definitely recommend picking up a few burritos and heading to the beach.
