Bidra med feedbackBest Kouign-amann I've ever had! Absolutely amazing ?
We ordered the Nutella crepe for breakfast and it was delicious!
Stumbled upon this charming café during our stay in San Clemente! The ambiance was quaint was delightful. The coffee tasted great and breakfast was delicious! The bakery smelled of fresh croissants and pastries! Highly recommend stopping by if you are in the area.
I ordered (a) Le Classique Sandwich without mustard. It look a while to arrive, a lot longer than the coffee my partner got, which the server did apologize for.Although the menu says it uses a “fresh” baguette, the baguette tastes maybe a day old (noticeably chewy, a bit hard to eat). I’m just a bit disappointed because the menu hyped up my expectations.Pastries are alright, and my partner says the coffee’s okay.
Food:I was born and raised in France, and I was really missing the amazing food there. This cafe brings a very good replica of what you'll find in Paris, especially concerning the baguette sandwiches and pastries. I definitely recommend the Biarritz sandwich because I tried it, but the other dishes looked also wonderful.Ambiance:The decorations is typical of a French bakery; the little tables with a coffee cup really replicates the street of Paris. The hidden garden behind the restaurant is definitely the best part; it has cute little decorations with enough sun and shade to make it comfortable.Value:Expect to spend around $16 per person for really high quality sandwiches and salads.Vegetarian options: You have a ton of alternatives to the main dishes with vegetarian options that taste as amazing.Parking: You'll find a ton of street parking spots around the restaurant, whether on the main street of Del Mar or the parallel streets.
