Centrale - San casciano dei bagni

My wife and I were spending a week in Celle Sul Rigo and we came to Bar Centrale twice to enjoy a coffee and pastries. The owner was very nice gentleman. We met an English lady that we enjoyed talking about our lives. This is a wonderful spot to stop and have refreshments. If the weather is nice you can sit on the outside and enjoy the fresh air and scenery. There is an awning to keep the sun out of your eyes. I would stop here again if in the area.

Wow! What an unexpected surprise gem of a brunch did we have here. The flavors of the dishes were just “Bellissimo!”. Add the atmosphere, the view and A wonderful Americano with warm milk and you get one of lifes most memorable brunches, which in my book is a five star outing. I guess it should not be surprising since it shares the kitchen with Daniela, which gets favorable mentions from the folks at Michelin ratings. This rates as my favorite day in rhis part of Tuscany this far, as we followed our brunch up at the Fontevedra 5 diamond Spa just a half mile away. This was our first real gelato and it was great! We were cracked up by the teenage boy listening to rap music as he served us. Not sure he understood that he was blasting English profanity, but we had a good laugh. Great gelato.

So, hey. This place is beautiful. I literally learned 10 words in Italian on the train, so I can only order coffee and mineral water. Both were Malta Bene here....

I was looking for a Gelateria and came over this bar. They have delicious gelatos, trying to aromatize Cacao and Bacio. To die.
