Bidra med feedbackGreat new Italian square with a separate, trendy bar. Family-friendly, vegetarian options (and I think vegan, but don't remember). Crawled for dinner, but we could get a table for two relatively fast. It is southern Italian, so pasta, pizza and hearty plates. Great appetizer and wine (Italian and Californian) choice, large portions, attentive service (especially for as crowded as it was). It has a great mood, with a mix of families, couples, businessmen and groups of friends enjoy an evening. A bit loud for casual conversation, depending on where you sit. The traditional antipasto appetizer is artistic and tasty!
The first time here, our waiter asked his recommendations to the dishes and ended with drinking an Italian red mix and eating the gnocchi with gorgonzola cream sauce. Both were fantastic. Someone else ordered a pizza with Mortadella, Burrata, tomatoes and pistachios. It wasn't nice, but it was very delicious. Another person had made an interesting house Pasta called Fiocchetti with pear in him and everyone loved it. I rarely order Gnocchi everywhere because it is usually terrible, but our waiter was Italian and I was right to trust his opinion! Will be back. Desserts and cocktails are also great. I'm so filled.
The place is a busy Italian place with lots of traffic. The service is attentive. Food is delicious. Options are available for different dishes. Wine selection is wide. Parking is difficult to get as this is a busy area in San Carlos. A good place to eat.
Very nice atmosphere, helpful staff and high quality food. I really enjoyed what I got, but I went without expectations. I would try again some of their other options.
Good Italian restaurant in San Carlos neighborhood. Good ambiance and service.
