True Texas Bbq - San Antonio

I wish they would make one in SA that had a drive through like they have in another city. Especially because this HEB parking can get a little wild. The food is too good to care that much though. Definitely recommend!

Finally made the time to try the bbq. I was surprised by the quality cook of the brisket and Turkey! I’m still making my way through the menu but I would recommend this spot. Good food, friendly/professional staff and the pricing is fair.

Wanted brisket, but by 7pm they were sold out. Opted for pork ribs. They were okay, I’ve had better. Out of spicy bbq sauce and nobody there to assist. Regular bbq sauce was okay. Corn bread has good flavor but super dry and clearly over-baked and fell apart when trying to get it out of the cardboard paper. The Mac’n cheese lacked flavor, but had a nice creamy texture. Out of several items in the menu, it was rather disappointing.

Brisket is my go-to! I haven't had any other place that can top them. Don't forget the best pickles EVA! Get there early.

Just gotta say the BBQ was DELICIOUS. Brisket and the Ribs were the Bomb
