Tong's Thai - San Antonio

I love Thai food and there is affordable, delicious and fresh food here at Tong's Thai. I tried the yellow curry with brown rice (extra for brown rice) and curry fried rice. The curry fried rice was delicious, I ordered it mild since I'm not great with spicy food. The yellow curry was a medium spiciness, still good but a bit hot for me.

I've gone to this restaurant several times, and unfortunately it's not consistent at all. The first time I visited, we went for lunch and it was fantastic. The white spring rolls were great. However, every time was different. Sometimes the food was great, other times it wasn't good at all. The seasonings were different every time. For as much as you pay per entree, you would think it would be worth it. Eating there for dinner is enough to break you. I would recommend this place for lunch only, because if it's not good, at least you didn't spend too much. Average lunch entree is about $8. Average dinner is over $15.
