Sea Island Shrimp House - San Antonio

Sadly not the same quality anymore. I’ve been eating here since the 90’s and sadly it appears the quality of the fish has gone down tremendously. The fish fillets taste like flavorless fried rubber. The shrimp is still decent and the sides were ok but the main course was a definite hard pass.

I am not a frequent diner here because I can't afford a meal here so I bought a few hush puppies to tide me over, The price was great! Lol. They were delish. However there is a long wait time for only 6 hush puppies.

I grew up coming here. The food is extremely consistent. They never make a bad plate. Everything is fresh and tasty. Nothing fancy but it's my go to for fried seafood. I get fried okra, oysters or shrimp when I come.

Loved the shrimp!! Loved everything. Excellent service.
