Oak Hills Tavern - San Antonio

Best dive bar in San Antonio! Food was delicious, fresh made bread for their sandwiches and burgers. Mess of fries had many choices. Damn good food will go again.

We’ve recently moved to San Antonio, and decided to give this place a try! So happy we did! Our bartender Johnny was so helpful in choosing our food, and remembered our drinks from our first visit! The outside patio is spacious and relaxing, and not too noisy being right off of Fredericksburg. The food is the best part! Amazing pizzas, stuffed grilled cheeses quesadillas, and fries topped with any kind of meat called “mess of fries”. Definitely a must try on Fredericksburg!

The food is delicious when you can get it, but that's not why I went there. This was my place for a few years when Tone Deaf Karaoke still made shows. Some of the best times of my life have been spent on this little dive bar. Always good drinks with good service. Friendly people. I miss you all OHT people. If you know, you know.

Definitely found our watering hole. Great food, great beer choices, Excellent service! Definitely a go to for an I don 't know , neh kind of night out. Oh, and they have shuffle board!

This place is an awesome little gem. A tad cramped for having out inside, but they have a massive patio, too. This place definitely has a dive bar feel to it, but is very welcoming. The food is amazing and caught me completely off guard! We checked them out late at night when we got into town. We split one of their daily empanadas. I can't recall what they said was in it, but either way it must be tried! In addition to that we split their Duck Confit Chelsea, and it rocked! The Chelsea has basil pesto sauce with mozzarella, rosemary grilled mushrooms, onions, red bell peppers, zucchini, and duck confit. Their dough is made in house, the vegetables are noticeably fresh, and the pesto sauce went perfect on it! All in all, the food is excellent for a place to hang out at, but get there early if you want to sit inside. Definitely a great place to meet with friends to hang.
