Meemos Bakery - San Antonio

I sure wanted to like this restaurant. I brought my little granddaughter with me. She ordered the chicken strips and fires, I ordered the turkey panini and pasta salad. Hers came out first which was ok I guess. The strips looked and tasted like banquet chicken you get in the freezer isle at H‑E‑B. The fries were nice and hot. I waited for my sandwich for about 10 minutes. I asked the waitress if mine would be coming out soon and she told me it was over there ready. The restaurant was not a bit crowded! Someone else brought it out and it was barely warm. The pasta salad was just so so. We bought cupcakes at $4/cupcake, they were good but way overpriced priced! $45 of my hard earned money, I won't be back.

This gem is about 8 minutes from the airport and easy to get to if you come in for an early am flight. Service was great with little to no wait on Thursday a. Had French toast and the Farmer's Skillet. The French toast was excellent, very fluffy, with the perfect mix of egg and cinnamon. The only downside is that you only get two pieces for 8.99I'm a small person and it didn't fill me up. The Farmer's Skillet was excellent according to my husband and he was so full that he couldn't finish his toast and homemade strawberry jam. I would recommend trying their various butters, jams and syrups. Also, be sure to check in as this place offers you a free cookie!! Thank you Meemo's!

Excellent service! Vicky welcomed my sisi me and Matthew took care of us with a smile! Food was hot upon serving and French vanilla latte London Fog was yummy. I had the croque madame and my sisi had biscuits gravy. Both delicious. We will for sure be back. Y'all won us over. We live on the NE side but will gladly visit Meemo's for the excellent hospitality shown to us. God bless y'all!

Ordered a dozen different cupcakes and muffins. No one could settle on one favorite and the group ended up sharing bites of all.

Five stars aren't nearly enough. This place is amazing. The service and food are wonderful. I had breakfast and every single thing was delicious. First and foremost. This place makes this best biscuit in the state. The pancakes were delicious as well. You will not be dissatisfied. They serve lunch and have a bakery. Everything is made from scratch. Don't pass this place up.
