Bidra med feedbackFried fish was bland. It was a cornmeal type of breading with no flavor. Disappointed that all their fish is Swai. Being a Mexican type of seafood place, I was expecting a cracker or breadcrumb breading. The fish flesh was more pink than white. Customer service is cut and dry. Not much interaction. They just seem in a hurry but not in a good way. Prices of food are good, though. Being the fish is their most popular item according to waitress, I don't feel interested in trying anything else again. Honestly, we've had better tasting fish in many other places.
Food was delicious and our server (young man) was very friendly and attentive! To start of they bring you complementary tostadas crackers with 2 house sauces. We ordered a family platter of fried fish/fried shrimp, came with a side of rice which we got the cilantro rice, delicious! We also got a mixed fish/shrimp ceviche, fresh and tasty! For a family of 3, this was plenty of food, good size portions. Over all enjoyed this place, will definitely come back when in the area.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of options on the kid menu
Fabulous, just stop looking and eat here. Thank me after ? Yes, it is that good!!! We could not believe the food! Amazing flavors, wow! We live in Mexico and Texas and know good quality, fresh and delicious food when we randomly find it. We have eaten in the finest to the street vendors giving many chances and until today had yet to find a restaurant we all agree ? in San Antonio. This is our new spot ?When we pulled in the parking lot I noticed how clean and cute the block building is. The dining room is cozy, comfy and has a coastal vibe. The restrooms were super clean (says EVERYTHING! We met Paola when ordering and she answered all of our questions and explained every dish we inquired about. Super friendly lady! We had yummy tostadas and salsa while we waited. I ordered fresh squeezed lemonade, grilled shrimp with black beans and side salad ? (salad was fresh the best! . The shrimp was seasoned perfect sooooooo good. My husband had tacos that were so good he inhaled them. Ha! Our son had the pazole which had fresh chopped veggies on top. He said it was amazing! The portion size is perfect!! I can go on and on but if you are still reading the longest, most satisfying review I've ever taken time to leave, well I hope you enjoy and support this fantastic little restaurant. I hope to become a regular here and I really hope they don't change. Everything blew me away. You can taste the high quality, fresh food. Thanks again! The Adame familia(Can't wait to go back!! Excellent restaurant and even better service. We almost didn't stop because of the exterior of the restaurant. So glad we came in. The service was better than restaurants that charge $50-100 per person. The food was fresh and well seaso ed. We had mini tacos, fish tacos, and shrimp frito (fried). All great. Highly recommend. 10/10!Kid-friendliness: Great for the family.Parking: Plenty of parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of space for wheelchair access.
First time visit with my husband today. I had the grilled shrimp tacos, he had the medium sized fried red snapper and we shared a large mixed ceviche and for dessert we also shared a flan de coco. Everything was delicious, seasonings and spices spot on while not overly salted. The ladies attending were also friendly, sweet and quick with everything. So happy we found this place so close to home! We will definitely be returning to try something different each time!
