Luby's - San Antonio

Good place to eat for home style cooking. A large amount of selections to choose from. Not all items on signage are in store. Two Luann's and one coffee $22.00 coffee was hot and fresh. Desserts looked delicious. Wait staff are friendly. Large seating area. Handicap accessible. Weekday specials.

This cafeteria style eatery is great for comfort food. The line always moves steadily. Once seated a server will come by to ensure you have everything you need. Somehow I always forget something but I have never received poor service at any location I've been to in the San Antonio area. The food is always warm (except when it's meant to be cold) and seasoned well. I've never had a bad experience at any Luby's.

I've been coming here all my life and it has always had great variety, quality and fresh food, a wonderful atmosphere, and excellent employees and service! We live in Hawaii now but I'm back in San Antonio to visit. I had to get my Luby's fix.

You have to go when they're busy so you know the food is fresh. You NEVER want to go here real late because the food has been setting all day and it's obvious just by seeing it. The food really is delicious. I like their fish and roast beef slices. They make fish so many different ways but I like it blackened or fried the most. The coconut creme pie is delicious and so is the carrot cake. Look in your junk mail because there's always coupons for one free entree.
