Bidra med feedbackThe food was great but we did noticed literally every blacks person and people dressed more casual instead of business casual were placed in a separate room
Everything was slightly off. The steak was dry, the fish underwhelming and even the sides just ok. I have had much better there and for $350 I expect better.
This was the first time we have been to Fleming’s. I rarely convince my husband to spend $200+ for a dinner. The ambience was great. The service was exceptional Frank was amazing. However the food was “okay” at best. I ordered a medium rare filet (the larger size). My filet was medium rare, directly in the center, but the edges and sides were medium to medium well (at best). Basically over 60% of my $70 steak was overcooked and not to my liking. I understand that happens, but what will keep me from returning was the manager’s reaction. One of the managers or owners (was a man in a suit) came by and asked how the steak was. I showed him that the steak was over cooked and his response was that it would be medium rare in the center and that it is normal for the edges and sides to be more cooked because they sear the steaks in a pan. I didn’t want to ruin the mood, so I just accepted it and only ate the very center of my steak. The rest we took home to the dogs. I doubt will convince my husband to try that place again.
Food and service was great. However my wifes birthday was not recognized. Seating area was boxed in.
My second time at a Fleming's, the first time was for business, but this time I came with my wife to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Great place, great food, no doubt this is one of the best steakhouses in the country.
