El Bucanero Embassy - San Antonio

My place for Mexican seafood. Had family in town, she had to take to El Bucanero. Had a hurry in the early Saturday evening before the big dinner, so could sit immediately. Even if it is overcrowded, the line moves pretty fast. They do a great task to let people sit, serve and clean for the next party. We had a party of six, but they always treat bigger parties. We sat right away. The waiter came immediately to take the drinks and appetizer orders. This came out within minutes and placed the main orders next. Most menu items are very large portions and probably best ordered family style. I was often here trying to order different articles every time. This time were the Molcajete el Bucanero, Botana Mixta, Coco Loco and Ceviche Hawaiano Tropical. The drink was the Michelada Bucanera. While waiting for your food, you can eat the Tostada chips with the 3 different Salsas on the table. You're very addicted and you'll get full quickly, just eat the chips. Food is amazing every time. I've never ordered anything I didn't like. Seafood is always very fresh and always beautiful. Service is very fast and they constantly check for you during the meal. Very recommend El Bucanero.for good seafood and good service.

I wait to try this place and finally went! Great atmosphere, good food, plenty of seating, huge portions! Definitely back to try the entire beverage and food menu!

I had no good ceviche since I left Corpus Christi. Only fear did I get sick once (here is San antonio), and threw up!! But this place!!! Wow... the flavors mix so well. I've been cooking for many years. I cook for perfection... this place is so delicious, so perfectly change nothing... I have read reviews? You either do not use mexican or to eat pure food... this is a bombing place. I will be back to try out all plates..awesome...taste is perfect I missed my womb....I will come back again.had the fish plate, all different things..the sauce in the middle...salsa.is awesome the taste goes well with the shrimp fish and Wels.cerviche

Authentic Mexican seafood, VERY delicios and generously cut. Absolutely wonderful. The ceviches, fish tacos with carrots in Escabeche (a kind of pickling) the seafood soup, all fantastic.

Everything was great, the only thing was when being seated we were waiting on 1 person to sit 3. The waiter told us she couldn't sit us until all our party was here. We just decided to sit at a table and order our drinks. If not she was going to skip us and go to the customers behind us.
