With the prices of goods increasing at an exponential rate (the price of eggs across the nation is averaging at $15 YALL , this place was a breath of fresh air. Located next to a bakery, this place is your one stop shop for bread and other baked goods (TASTYCAKES that other retailers may have pushed out due to nearing expiration dates. Honestly, I keep my bread in the fridge (taboo? so it lasts at least two weeks with that said, I don 't mind. Most of the breads were between $1.50 $3 a loaf. At this price, I could afford to take quite a few different ones to try. We picked up the Cinnabon loaf, a Hawaiian bread, PRETZELS (my favvvv some donuts. The service wasn 't spectacular or anything. There was only one gentleman working the entire experience at the register was solely transactional. Maybe a welcoming hello would have changed this to a 5 star review : However, you can 't keep me from carbs, so I know I 'll be back.
Good place to get discounted bread for a decent price, especially like the expensive Killer Dave's line.
Those small cakes that are mentioned above were delicious... But when I miss the most was a dark chocolate cake with the light chocolate Frosty I got one of those for my birthday every year I believe they also had a coconut one. I also miss going to the buttercrest bakery on Broadway Street when I was a little girl we went there every year got our pencil or ruler and our toast buttered bread. Those were the best memories.
Love the bakery. Bread isn't always expired. I buy the cakes and take to the nursing homes. They love it.
