A real home cooked meal, much cheaper and much better quality than any other place on the island. After your meal, definitely visit the beach. It has the best sand water on the whole island!!!
This is a family-run restaurant of the older dad and mother with her adult child, super friendly and accomodating, the delicious and affordable! home-made really typical food like really local. I had Concha Nautilus served in a delicious sauce with coconut rice, salad freshly shredded carrot and tomatoes and pan de fruta bread fruit tree fruit. Unforgettable food! And it's lactose free! It is directly opposite a clean non-tourist beach where a super friendly guy sells fresh coconuts than you can have with rum and other fixations. Perfect! And in addition, they speak English the natives of San Andres actually speak a dialect very close to English Make yourself a favor, away from the commercial all foreign bought Downtown San Andres and eat REAL food in this restaurant!
Don't expect luxury from this restaurant, it's rather a typical rest, with excellent attention and so-owners, very generous portions and is visited by many tourists.
This is a native family run restaurant (the older daddy and mom with their grown up kid, super friendly and accomodating), the most delicious and affordable (!) home-made really typical food (like really native).I had concha (nautilus) in a delicious sauce served with coconut rice, salad (freshly shredded carrot and tomatoes) and pan de fruta (bread-fruit tree fruit). Costed me 1/3 of the price neighboring restaurants were proposing.Unforgettable meal! And it's lactose free! It's right across from a clean non-touristy beach, where a super friendly guy sells fresh coconuts, than you can have with rum and other fixings.Just perfect! And on top of that they speak English (the natives from San Andres do actually speak a dialect very close to English)Do yourself a favor, run away from the commercial all foreign bought downtown San Andres and eat REAL food at this restaurant!
