The Counter - San Andreas

The food is good (and I’ve been there many times , however the increase in price along with the mandatory 20% gratuity for dine-in is terrible. That was disclosed AFTER I was seated and got my food from the waiter. Transparency would have been appreciated. I get it’s during the pandemic, but the service and waiting times were overall lousy and atmosphere could have been a tad better. Gratuity is always based on service, and it was definitely not worth the 20% on top of the mandatory health service fee (over 8% by Santa Clara County Santana Row area, where workers are already compensated. I urge all people who dine in to watch out for this as more and more places are sneaking this in. Definitely not dining in there and will do takeout next time.

Very beautiful place, the burger is delicious. The service is also good, they asked if we would like to share our food to half, so that we can share it easily.

Great experience with good food and thoughtful service. Sandwiches do not come with frits so we added a basket for the table on the server's suggestion and big call! Burgers are good, frits and onion rings are great, salads are delicious... A good place to eat a fast meal! One of the few places to do this is really occupied too!

The best burger place in the city. You have a great menu and an option for “Build Your Own”. They also have vegetarian and vegan options. The vegan Patty is yum. Fresh ingredients and toppings. It's worth trying. You can order online and pick up in the restaurant or pick up a border.
