Bidra med feedbackCool place with great, top tier, bar type food. It has a good atmosphere and local flavor for a touristy area. Must eats; lobster bites, lobster fajita tacos.
Interesting fusion of Mexican and typical seafood buckets. I had a bucket with small lobster tails, snow crab legs, shrimp and corn. It came with re fried beans, rice and tortillas on the side. It was a lot of food and could have easily been shared. We appreciated the way my grandson could get just snow crab although it wasn't on the menu. Good drinks. Don't go unless you are hungry and are willing to drop a bit of money. It's pricey.
I gave this restaurant 5 stars but that was slightly generous. My 12 year old daughter and me 52 year old mom came in on Saturday night during the SF at Padres game. The game had just started so the staff was clearly taking a small break and resetting for the post game crowd. The good: the chicken wings, kids chicken strips and the Mai tai, shipwreck and strawberry margarita cocktails. The medium: the tortilla chip bar was thrashed but still delicious. The ugly: the women's rest room trash can was overflowing. Had to ask for napkins and salt. Please have baseball games on all if not most TVs. No one wanted to watch Bruins hockey or soccer. We had about 3 servers. Got better as the evening progressed. Derrick was last and best. We have eaten here before and certainly will again.
The food was outstanding. Our waiter was on point in explaining the menus. Can't recall his name. Tall dude with braids/dreeds. Hands down a great place. Already know where I will visit on my next trip to San Diego.
Great location. Expansive happy hour menu with multiple price options. Drinks are not watered down. Nice vibe. Awesome outdoor seating. Staff aims to please. Try the lobster bites and ahi poke...amazing. Will definitely be back!
