Bidra med feedbackI am always pleasantly surprised there is a Joe's Crab Shack here since many SF natives tend to shun corporate places. However last time I ate here, about a month ago, it was great! The staff was lively as usual and the atmosphere was really festive and fun. The food was great and, also as usual, really messy (but in a good way)! Is it the best seafood ever? No. But for the price it's great!
It’s upstairs so a window table gives a great view of the wharf. It’s a loud, fun place with happy music that makes you want to sing along. The servers perform throughout the dinning room every 45 minutes and many of the diners joined in. The menu is extensive and prices are very reasonable for the portions. The bucket of corn, clam chowder, fish and chips, shrimp caesar salad and key lime pie were wonderful. If I lived in San Francisco I would certainly eat there often.
Really fresh seafood. Loved this place. The menu menu has a lot of options. Really quick. You can order the food to the spiciness you prefer. They have an amazing views of the sea if you can make it to the window tables. There place has an amazing ambiance. Casual setting. You order your food directly on their website and it goes straight to the kitchen. They don’t have a lot of servers as you order and pay directly on their website. I would like to see the restaurant have a more traditional service process. Overall it is a nice seafood experience.
Food was very good, and I kind of went overboard with happy hour. But you'll notice many complaints about the online ordering system: it sucks. You have to order and pay with your phone, not the greatest if your hands are oily with butter.
The food was delicious flavorful. It's well worth the price. You do have to scan a QR code on your table order through your phone. Not sure if that's just temporary because of Covid. The people there were really nice the service was great. For what we paid we had a whole table full of food.
