Siam Garden Thai Restaurant

Only started getting takeaway from here during COVID times but can’t live without my weekly Thai from here now! Takeaway service is quick and easy. Prices are extremely reasonable. Food is awesome!!! It’s my local go-to now!

Food was not the flavorsome, tasty thai meals we had hoped for. We selected Siam Beef, Chicken Red Thai and Chicken Jasmine. Won't be going back.

We've had the same food as takeaway twice in the past fortnight. Fantastic. Tasty. Fresh. Choo chee curry,prawn pad thai and beef larb! Great food and friendly staff

While I’ve lived nearby for 7 months, this was my first experience of the Siam Garden. On my way back home from the Siam Garden, which is a 2 minute drive from my home, I was feeling pretty excited to have a Thai restaurant so close by! Unfortunately though, the food didn’t really live up to my expectations! I ordered fish cakes, a green chicken curry, and rice. The fish cakes were ok, but the chicken curry was pretty ordinary. It wasn’t inedible, but to put it in perspective, my son made a green curry chicken a couple of weeks ago, from a Marion’s kitchen box kit. Every aspect of that dish was streets ahead of the poor excuse offered by the Siam Garden. The Siam Garden version features a very watery curry with absolutely no kick to it (the menu Moyes that it is the hottest/spiciest of their curries! . It was lacking in vegetables too. Particularly bamboo shoots which were almost non existent. Dissapointing. In future, I’ll drive a little further for a better curry, thanks.

We picked up our takeway dinner tonight, and enjoyed shared a mixed entree, salt and pepper calamari, jasmine rice, masaman curry, and steamed rice. the friendly staff quoted 30 minutes to prepare my order, and when I arrived after 25 minutes, the food was ready, hot and steaming. The salt and pepper garlic calamari was the best I have eaten for a long time. prices are modest, quality is great, service is friendly I recommend this restaurant for takeaway or dine-in, I have been eating here or ordering takeway) for years.
