Li Pali - SALVE

Coming by bike from Gallipoli this is an exellent place for lunch. We ate pasta with tomato sauce and fish of the day. Tasted so good! Straff was very nice!

Amazing food and very generous portion sizes. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Salento. We absolutely loved this family run place where you can feel how much pride, care and involvement is in every single detail. I highly recommend it for fish and seafood dishes

The restaurant is nice and clean, the service quality depends a lot on the waiter you inherit. For the food, the quality is OK, not super and definitely not if you compare price/quality to other offers in the near-region. You better eat something super fresh, simple and very inexpensive at the Maceriara in Torre Pali center . There is a strong organisation/coordination issue between service in the restaurant and the kitchen. In terms of the dishes we experienced, the seafood uncooked plate is correct, not spectacular. The linguine with gamberis are FANTASTIC, The fresh fish of the day was very good. The fresh tuna steak was ex-frozen, too cooked, the veal-slice ‘saltimbanco style’ was presented twice (first time while the guest was still eating her first piatti, and so not OK. You can understand why we did not bother to try the desserts.

Ottimo ristorante come pochi nel Salento, proprietario mario persona e chef di grande gentilezza e professionalità. un pranzo di pesce fresco!. Lo consiglio vivamente.

Una sera abbiamo cenato con la mia famiglia e stavamo bene. il proprietario ci ha accolti con il sorriso e ci ha consigliato vino e piatti. La camera è elegante e raffinata ma non ingerita. ottimo servizio e ottimo cibo: pesce crudo eccezionale
