Nice romantic restaurant with excellent food. Wonderful views.

This is an old review and is based on before they closed during pandemic/renovation. Found some photos so I decided to write this review anyway. Cost of buffet is on the high range but what you're paying for here is the view. I've dine here several times but there's nothing spectacular in this restaurant. It is delicious to the taste and very desirable. I desire all to receive it.

The location is what you are paying for. It's like a fancy pot luck or church dinner. Nothing that was supposed to be hot was hot, nothing that was supposed to be cold was cold. It was all room temperature and not worth the money. The cheese plate was mostly cheddar and Swiss, not anything I would brag about.

We have taken our family to The Roof Restaurant for several years at Christmas. Our youny grandchildren were broken hearted when the establishment closed for renovations. There is no way to adequately describe the quizene. Our young grandchildren tried dishes that were unusual to them and loved them. We are hopeful that the experience will be even better when the restaurant reopens. We will be there to experience it again.
