Market Street Grill Oyster — Downtown

Ordered the Prime Rib Meal the Horseradish was bland. Tasted like whipped up butter. Out of all the fancy meals we ordered, the Gulf Shrimp with Fries was the best.

If red lobster and and cracker barrel were failing and merged you’d have market street grill… Maybe this place was good in the past but they have lost their touch. The food lacks flavor and the decor makes the place look like a bowling alley? Hire a new head chef and update this place because your quietly losing your weekly guest

First time there and food was amazing, staff was amazing, great place, will definitely be back.

We should have known that seafood in Utah would be just that. The service was fine. Market Street was very average and it’s apparent they are focused on cost controlling as a chain. The chowder barely has any clams and the crab legs can be purchased at Costco and cooked the same way. The crab cakes were mostly breading, highly seasoned and lacking enough crab to make them worth getting. The crab cakes were fine but nothing special for the price. The food was good and the seafood was amazingly fresh. I got the prime rib and it was very good. I felt our server wasn't very friendly and all the waitstaff seemed like they didn't want to be there. I bet they are a little understaffed which probably makes it difficult. I would still go again.
