Bidra med feedbackI've been here before over the years and it used to be better. These days things are either good, or just over sauced. The fried rice and egg rolls are good though.
Very friendly service, fast and completely empty but the food was just not good. Had a ramen bowl combo with Beijing beef. Dry plain noodles with nothing in them, came with a teriyaki sauce on the side. Very little meat served. I ended up eating just the meat. My husband had chow mein with kung pow chicken but minus the chicken, sadly he only got the veggies and he’s still hungry. Our meal total came out to 30.80, which is a little expensive for a one recommendation. I feel like this could have been better.
I mean it won't kill ya, but I think my general tso chicken was a few days old.
Solid 4 star Mom and Pop dining experience! The food was hot, fresh, and tasty. The restaurant was clean and had an inviting atmosphere. My one issue with the visuals/cleanliness was the need to wipe down the top of the siracha bottles now and then, especially if they are going to be a self-serve item. I got the one entree meal with Huainan Tofu and Chow Mein and a Thai Tea Boba drink.Huainan Tofu: I loved the thin sliced and fried tofu! The Veggie mix was cooked perfectly (not too crunchy/raw and not burned or soggily overcooked). There was just the right amount of sauce, and the temperature was perfect!Chow Mein: As others have said, the chow mein is a little dry, but as far as I am aware, that is fairly normal for chow as it is fried up in a wok instead of boiled all the way to completion (like lo mein). They were still very soft and flavorful, and I feel as though they were very good! The Boba Thai Tea: Yum! The tea was a little bit weaker in the flavor department than I am used to, but it was still delicious, and I loved that it was blended with ice! The Boba pearls were wonderful, and it was just what I needed to cool down on a hot June day!
They are well priced and the people working are very kind. Food is good and they give you plenty.
