Bidra med feedbackThis was a special occasion evening out for us . Yes , the oysters were delicious, fresh and served quickly . We have frequented Current over the past 8 years . It was an amazing place for fresh seafood when it first opened . It had great atmosphere and good energy. This last visit left us flat , compared to what we have experienced in the past. The food although good , was not great . My husband had the fish stew. It was with a Thai flavored base . Let me just ust say that the chef should leave the “Thai” cuisine to the excellent Thai restaurants that we have in our area. I had the octopus and I had asked how it was prepared. It was sous vied for hours to tenderize, and was to be seared for finishing. It was very tender but the finishing was not executed correctly. The octopus came to the table room temperature and starting to soften from the searing. I also added as an à la cart one seared scallop. The cost of the scallop was $10. It came to the table cold. Leaving my entire dinner at a lukewarm temp. We did ask that scallop be removed from our bill and it was. So with Lukewarm food snd lukewarm atmosphere. Let's just say we will be looking for a new oyster fish house for our dining out experiences.
Our party of three had a delightful dinner. The sides were fresh and well-seasoned, and the service was attentive and accurate. Our entrees were delicious. Weekday evening reservations always work well for us.
Went for our anniversary dinner, and the restaurant was amazing. Every item we ordered was delicious, the staff all wished us a happy anniversary. Really went the extra mile. We live Current.
Great place for a nice dinner. Fresh seafood and chefs that take their craft seriously. The only gripe I have is how hard it was to decide from the menu! So many delicious choices. They also have a mock tail menu for the friends who don't drink but want to feel included.
Great food service but it had to be 80 degrees inside which was a disappointment because it was a 100 degree day. Really put a damper on our meal because we found ourselves rushing through it just to leave and go find some air conditioning.
