Chick-fil-a - Salt Lake City

I enjoy eating here occasionally. Great people and service. Just thought I?d post this as it made us laugh. Who would have thought good pickles were in short supply?

Always great service and food. If I am in a hurry I often get the cup of ice cream with chocolate sauce.

It was Chick-fil-A, so of course I didn't get photos of the food before we woofed it down. Everything was done perfectly. The kid who made my cone made it like the advertisements. He's an artiste. Everybody was hurrying to keep up with the lunch rush so tbh there wasn't a line at ordering, and really not much wait for the food. They had more staff than I've ever seen at a food court restaurant, which was great for customers. And what a view from the tables.

I was served a market salad with moldy strawberries and really old looking lettuce. I used curbside pickup (which was great), unfortunately, I didn't look at the state of my salad until I got home.

I waited 3 YEARS for this! I haven 't had the opportunity to travel down south for the last 3 years (eff you covid), so I was eager and ready for my fix of Chick-Fil-A. While the service is what I 've come to expect from CFA, sadly the sandwich wasn 't as good as I remembered. How can something freshly made, eaten not even 3 minutes after.. fall apart? Was it the vision impaired employee who built the sandwich? Or was it the chicken to the right, bread to the left and everything else just find space.. game? So my 3 stars is based on the service and SACUCES.. still got that condiment game STRONG! The bread was soggy, accompanying vegetables wilted.. however the chicken was still excellent. Not in a rush to get another fix!
