Bidra med feedbackThis is a pub at the Moonbeam lodge at The Solitude Resort. It's a place to grab some basic hearty food or a drink while you are skiing, snowboarding or attempting to do either of these. It is not fine dining. It is not grab and go. It's basic, no frills, but gets the job done and it does it well. They have a pretty good selection of beers and a couple seltzers. Food wise, the menu sticks to the tried and true. Burger (and a veggie option) bratwurst, hot dog, mac and cheese and chicken tenders and fries, which is what I had. I was satisfied with my chicken tenders and fries and my seltzer. They also have chili and a soup option which I did not try. Seating inside is limited. The bar has a decent amount of seats and there are a couple tables but it gets crazy packed in there. Fun thing is when you are just done for the day but no one else is, you can grab a beverage and head to one of the Adirondack chairs overlooking the slopes and just watch.
So, as far as hillside ski pubs go, this one is cozy... Great beer, better service and right at the base of the hill... Everything you want and need for a post run drink... Cheers..
Grab a beer between runs at Moonbeam lift at Argenta Pub. The prices are high as expected. We had the Jalapeño Fries which sounded better than they ended up being. Very very small portion for the price and they were over salted. I wish I would have gotten the chicken tenders and fries.
I present to you $15 worth of chips and burger. No, I didn't eat any chips before picture. No toppings at all. Solitude needs an indoor brown bag area. ?
Just like another review, the $15 cheeseburger doesn’t include anything other than a bun, burger and cheese unless you ask for it. I found this out the hard way and most my food was cold by the time I got my toppings and applied my own ketchup and mustard. I spent $50 for 2 burgers, fries and and a beer.
