Bidra med feedbackVisited here 15-2-19 at 1 o'clock for lunch. what a great find when shopping at carrfour. nice and clean, good prices. friendly. I had the smoked salmon plate, about 200g salmon and salad and bread, my wife had the southern roasted chicken burger, chips, beans and salad,...2 ears gray teas. 16 euros. absolute bargain. I wish we had this chain in Britain. 10/10
Ate 3 large bowls of Moules. I didn't look too greedy when I saw the 4th or 5th time.
Next door to our hotel, we found this cafe, self service with a difference: it's all fresh cooked and you can go back for more of the side dishes... We were gasping for a beer, having been travelling all day, but could only buy it with food,...and only after 6.30pm when the food service began.Once we grasped this and prepaid our food we were happy and in advance settled down with drinks to await our chosen meals being cooked. Amazing value main courses from 5.50 Euros, including all the choices of veg, chips, croquettes, salads to go with. The range of dishes was wide, including curries, fish, meats.. specials of the day were good, and if you had room afterwards, the range of desserts was vast and terribly attractive. Well worth another visit! Helps to speak French we had to aid a fellow traveller who couldn't manage to get a cup of coffee
The experience of eating in this restaurant was very entertaining. We had to explain to an employee how we bought and ate our first course before ordering our 2nd and subsequent meals. The lady was very helpful....Food was very good as the wine. Price for the whole meal was very reasonable. Clean place with plates very fast away.
After an 11 hour drive from the UK I just wanted some good french food and a bottle of wine. This restaurant hit the spot, although if you are a 'non' french speaker then on arrival you may get a little confused, so some tips.On arrival find a free table...Go to the starters area get your tray and cutlery, chose a starter (if you want one), get your drinks and then pay for that at the till, where you also order your main course at the same time.Once you have paid you will get a ticket for each main course, which you can take up to the cooking area once you have finished your starters. They will then cook your main course when you give your ticket in.Desserts and additional drinks can the be picked up and paid for later...The meal we had was excellent. Starters lovely (smoked salmon and anchovies), main course of steak with a good choice of side dishes, which were part of the main course price. Children's menu was simple and cheap (for example: fresh pizza, with a drink and a crepe was €6). Our two course meal for a family of 5 was €50 including a bottle of wine and coffee). It isn't haute cuisine but you really can't go wrong in giving this a try.... Bon Appétit!
