Market Street Inn - Salisbury

It was cold inside. The waiter took forever to ask for a drink order. We waited and waited to get two sodas. The sodas we brought to our table after around 15 minutes. He said he'd be right back. Possibly another 15 minutes to take our order. We ordered a cup of cream of crab and seafood potato skins. Thank goodness my friend and I had a lot of catching up to do. It seemed like our waiter had just vanished. I can't even put a time frame on finally getting our order it seemed like forever. When the food arrived it was piping hot and delicious. I just have to add that it was not that outrageously busy that day. Food fenominal. Service needs attention. I will go back, one bad experience isn't a good reason not to try again.

Service was great, food was good the oysters were better than the chicken picata which honestly was a bit weird with the tomatoes. Wine was good.

Picked For A Random Datenight because It was located on the riverfront. My husband is older very picky , hard to please usually, and almost never eats or tries new food or places. He easily gave them a 10/10 I was definitely amazed. He usually will always find somethingggg.?‍? He gave high marks me as well for the fresh bread roll it was hot , crusty, and served with butter. I didn’t know we got table bread so ordered the fresh homemade pretzels bites as my appetizer. He said Auntie Anne’s need their recipe lol but they were good. My husband is a steak man but only really Ribeyes, prime rib, and cowboy steak but they only offered a fillet mignon I think so to my utter shock he ordered one and enjoyed that as well. God can do anything . Later he said it’s the best meal he’s had in awhile. The service was awesome. The vibe romantics friendly. It was to cold to eat out on the patio , but my view of the river was so beautiful at night either the decor of the restaurant. We loved it. I can’t wait to visit on a warm summer night I can see it being a local favorite.

We had a wonderful early dinner today to celebrate our son’s birthday Easter! All 6 meals, the starters, drinks, desserts were delicious! Our waitress (don’t remember her name but she is an early childhood student) was superb!

I booked a dinner here to celebrate getting engaged. The hostess was great, did her best to get us a romantic spot and got us water. Waited for 15 minutes, didn't see my waitress until I asked for help twice. After waiting a little longer without our drinks, we found a new place to celebrate. Unfortunate as this place looked perfect. Folks in town said it was uncharacteristic.
