Michael's Grill Taqueria - Salinas

If you're not from CA beef tacos are shredded beef not ground beef. Very good and fast.

Went for lunch the first time last week. Or waitress was great. We got to talking and it turned out that she was the owner! We chatted for a while, lovely person. Had a chicken sandwich that was not Mexican fare, but was so good that I ordered burritos to go and my wife and I had them for dinner. Good Mexican food, nice price, the feel of a friendly neighborhood Taqueria.

Loved the blackened shrimp quesadilla, huge delicious Chavela which also had blackened shrimp (star of the show! , and chicken fajitas salad! Waitress was also kind and working so hard. Love this place and will be back. Also it was the same day as the farmers market out front so that was fun.

1$ taco Tuesday is amazing. Lots of meat options. Service is great. Social distancing is setup with outside seating.

Delicious Mexican restaurant in downtown Salinas. The portions are generous, especially the taco size. Wow! We also got some kids' meals and they also were a good size. The flavored were great and the house salsa was a good heat. As of today, 3/26/21, there is dining inside. Note that the street out front is torn up and under construction. The photo shows a two item combo green enchilada and carne asada taco.
