Black Bear Diner - Salinas

Was enjoying our last day visiting our grandparents, and they decides to treat us to breakfast here. Service was so nice, the menu design was so cool, and the food was AMAZING! I had ordered the Volcano, and was sad I couldn't finish it

My son and I loved It! The staff was friendly and courteous, we did not feel rushed to hurry up and leave. Food did not take long to come out.. we usually go to the Monterey location, but this experience was just as good and the prices weren't too bad.. we will definitely be going back, looking forward to the new Salinas location

I ate at the original up in Shasta City back in 95, never had a complaint with the food or service. Good food, great value, and awesome service available here in Salinas w/out the trip north!

Love going to most black bear diners but this morning this location was a little on the slower side. From the 15 minute wait to walking up and asking for a box and our receipt. The food was definitely on point and my son absolutely loved the happy bear pancake. I wasn’t starving and settled with oatmeal that was tasty. Will return to this location in the future
