Caffe Capri Reed - Salem

As much as I love this place I 'm fed up with their business hours, they change their hours so frequently that its scary to come to be turned back, because they closed early. Before hrs where until 7pm then 6pm. Ok I got it... then they starting closing at 4 Monday to Friday and 5 on Saturdays. Today Sunday I came, I arrive at 3:40 pm she said I 'm close, my hot brew is close but I can make a blended drink hold on when you close a business if close at 4 you start cleaning machines after you close not cleaning machines 30 minutes before your closing time to leave right at 4! What if someone comes like me wanting a hot drink? it 's open 7-4 aren 't you??? I 'm pretty sure that I 'm not the only one annoyed with the unpredictability of this business and its sad that regardless of how great their coffee is there are tones more coffee shops that are serious about running their business.

This has become on of my favorite places for coffee and meetings in Salem. The staff are always extremely pleasant, the beautiful lever style espresso machine is a treat, and the ambiance of the Reed is AMAZING!

I came in and the gal working was running her fingers through her hair constantly and proceeded to make beverages without washing her hands. When we got our hot drink it burnt both mine and my boyfriend's tongue so bad that we could not taste the drink. The milk was also burnt. The iced latte was good. All the tables were dirty and since they only had one person working, we wiped it off with a napkin out selves.

Kind employees, delicious coffee and a wonderful atmosphere! What more could you ask for.

SUPER FANTASTIC!! Loved everything about it. We had a vanilla bean frap and it was the most delicious, best frozen drink I have ever had. Way better than competitors. I just wished they were open in the evening. Atmosphere is so cute, and since I don't drink alcohol would love to be able to meet friends in the evening here.
