Bidra med feedbackA disappointing and bizarre dining experience, to say the least, with lackluster service and food. The chicken was extremely gummy, as if it was previously frozen, so we decided not to eat it. The cherry on top there was a bone mixed in with the pasta. No one came to check on us after the food was delivered. The server FINALLY reappeared after about 30 min. When we expressed our dissatisfaction, they told us This is just how we cook the chicken there is nothing wrong with it. Because of the bone, they offered a free dessert. About 15 min later a different server appears with the wrong dessert (bread pudding instead of chocolate lava cake). We looked at each other confused and tried to communicate that this was not our order. The server was not fluent in English, but my wife and I were able to deduce that they were out of the dessert we ordered, so they decided to pick another random dessert for us. We had to push to be able to pick another dessert. Seriously!? What a joke. They had the audacity to still charge full price for the chicken dinner.
Here's what $25 gets you at this Salem location for a Chicken Picatta dinner. They didn't even bother to add bread to the delivery. What a joke, go to the Lynn location instead where they actually care. Tried calling them but nobody picked up the phone. So annoyed that I plan on calling my credit card and doing a chargeback on this order.
There is simply no words to describe the spectacular experience this amazing place provided. The sweetest waitress bringing food that would bring tears to the eyes of Kings, in a spectacular ambiance of old world Italy Europe. Beautiful subtle music, and that food ...the Lemon Piccata melts in yer mouth, the risotto ought to be illegal it was so good!! ..utter ecstasy. The only word for this food is gastronomic orgasm. Ok two words. Belissimo.
This restaurant served as a wonderful anniversary date for me and my husband. The food absolutely amazing- both dinner and dessert! The staff was extremely friendly and efficient. We would recommend, and we'd be back again for sure!
We hosted a rehearsal dinner event followed by welcome drinks for the entire guest list. Maureen suggested closing the restaurant to the public so we had the whole venue, the whole evening. The rehearsal dinner was in the front two rooms for 42 people. The setup was perfect with plenty of room for our whole group. The welcome drinks were supposed to be outside on the patio but it rained the whole evening so we were in four different locations within the restaurant. We hosted 150 people and It worked out perfectly on a less than perfect evening weather wise. The food was excellent-shrimp grand marnier and prosciutto rollatini for appys, a choice of five entre items-I had the bolognese, it was delicious, choice of desserts-tiramisu or limoncello cheesecake, both were excellent. We had flatbread pizzas and an antipasti spread for the welcome drinks. Again, all were delicious. Maureen went above and beyond to meet our needs. Her servers and bartenders were very responsive. We were in a time crunch for dinner created by one of our guests but Maureen worked with us and the time table worked out perfectly. Everyone worked hard and were very flexible to make the evening perfect for the bridal couple and our guests. Hopefully we will get to return some day.
