Kontrei Kuierz - Saldanha

Needs a bit upgrading and more wine and food options but for the area it is more than perfect! Such a lovely hidden West Coast gem. I'll definitely recommend a chilled lunch! Pet and kid friendly!

My daughter and I had a most delicious meal prepared at Kontrei Kuierz, Jacobsbaai. The Chicken Schnitzel and chips was perfectly prepared and served with a smile We will certainly visit there again!

Loved the breakfasts and the friendly service. They made us feel so comfortable and at home. I fully recommend that you pop in if you are in the area. Good food, excellent service.

This is such a cute coffee shop and so highly recommended! Just on the outskirts of Jacobs Bay, this is a go to place for a light snack and drink, or better yet a lovely “kuier plek”. We recently went there on their braai day and what fun it was! Everyone brings their food and they supply the place and the great service/entertainment. It is pet friendly and they also have a few necessities in store for sale. I would highly recommend for any traveler coming this way to give this place a visit it’s cost efficient and peaceful. A great place to enjoy the local weskus vibe!

Kontrei keffie is a must visit when passing through Jacobs bay. The food options are limited but they are superb. They only recently started doing pizzas on certain days and be sure your pizza will be packed to the max when you order one. The owners are friendly and talkative people. Not to mention marmite the friendly black lab that hangs around. Pets are still welcome though he is an old softy for new furry friends. They also sell most necessities. A must visit for travelers and it's the place to be for the locals of Jacobsbaai to just have a glass of wine or a nice chat. They also have braais every second week or so.
