Excellent friendly service as always in a great location on the Charente River

We stopped by chance in this brewery on Sunday noon in Saintes on the road to Brittany. The property is located on the edges of Charente facing a superb Gallo-Roman triumphal arc. The boss explained that he doesn't cook, but with a local catererer, he offers dishes served in wooden boxes accompanied by salad. We chose a duck parmenter that turned out to be good, and to accompany our Musadet glass, a delicious dry local sausage. To finish a Nutella whipped waffle. Prices are very affordable. A small reservation, however, for the boss who made a misleading moral lesson to a client visibly in weakness.

Very friendly bar with a warm atmosphere, drinks to drop on the ground especially with the punch house!

We spent a very good time in very good company at the Arc de Triomphe bar. Very warm patron who has received us very well, sharing his experience and serving us a delicious homemade punch.... We strongly recommend this place and we will return often!
