Bidra med feedbackThe Globetrotter has been one of our favourites for moule frites, but unfortunately the quality has gone down. So has one of our other special dishes, duck breast. Luckily there are other places in St. Foy but a pity that Globetrotter has lost some of its charm.
It wasn't inviting, fairly greasy spoon, but it was the only thing open, so we tried it. It was a cheap and reasonably cheerful place, although I started to wonder if the waitress was Parisian, when she kept pretending not to understand my perfectly good French. How many ways can you say quatre bieres? Anyway the food lived up to the decor. I would eat there again, if everything was shut.
Love to read the paper Have an espresso Chat with owner Friendly local cafe pub Good spot for Saturday morning market And a sneaky beer !!!
Nice bar with limited choice of bar food. Good service with English speaking waitress. We were a three adult party and we had an omelette and chips and chicken and chips. The quality of the food was okay and not that pricey.
Surprised by the mixed reviews; this is not a michelin star restaurant but provides well cooked basics, really good pizzas and superbly cooked omelettes -even, and this is rare in France, a couple of vegetarian items. The house wine was good and the service was very friendly. We had mains, desserts and drinks for 5 people for less than €100 An enjoyable evening.
