Bidra med feedbackWe had a great service at the restaurant in Nice, but despite the expensive prices, the food was very average. We were disappointed and do not plan on returning.
I went out with friends last minute and was impressed by the excellent service and delicious food at this restaurant. They offer a wide variety of fish dishes and the starters were also very good. The only areas for improvement are the wine list, which could use some updating, and the baklava, which didn't quite meet the standard I expected from a Greek restaurant.
My husband called the restaurant to inform them of the situation and spoke to the owner. Surprisingly, the owner showed no empathy, did not apologize, and did not make any effort to rectify the issue. It became clear that the restaurant had served us older, cheaper fish that had caused us to get food poisoning. After hearing feedback from others who had also experienced illness after dining at this establishment, I decided that it was best to avoid this restaurant in the future. Be cautious of what you eat, especially when it comes to your stomach's health.
The first impression was not great. The entrance door is on the back without signs to guide you, and you will not receive a warm welcome, in fact you will not receive any welcome at all. The waiter was good at a good price of Greek wine. The menu is quite limited and if we asked if we could trade rice for potatoes, we were told that NO you get what is planned for the dish without any substitution at all! At any rate we choose the lamb frame, which was very delicate, beautifully spiced and tasty as the secondary dishes. That was good. But the desserts were poor and I doubt they were home. The atmosphere was busy and good. Basically, this is a nice simple place, not very demanding. The prices are on the high side, but this is St Sauveur finally.
Beautiful restaurant but food was just ok. Tzatziki was not creamy but pretty hard, Fried calamari were ok but did not come with any dipping sauce.
