Bidra med feedbackThis is a place you always hope for before you in any restaurant: welcome, beautiful surroundings, real and excellent food. At the time of the visit we were the only non-local customers. Right in front of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence.
On holiday in St Rémy with friends we ate here on two occasions. We were warmly welcomed by friendly staff. The food was delicious, well cooked presented. We spent a pleasant evening in pleasant surroundings.
Went here for lunch with my wife and we both had the menu. It was very tasty and good wholesome comfort food. The staff were friendly and helpful. The place was jumping with lots of locals...it wad a hood choice..
We ate at this restaurant because we kept driving by on our way to see the sites around St. Remy. I ordered the magret of duck with honey sauce. It was a huge portion and tender. The sauce was sweet with honey and had lots...of nuts. It was delicious for me. There were other choices of sauce or natural if you did not like sweetness. My daughter had a hamburger that was also large and delicious. I was full so had lavender ice cream for dessert. My husband had an apple tart. Everything was good and the prices were reasonable. I would highly recommend this bistrot.
Perhaps because it was an unexpected find I loved this restaurant and the food better than almost any others on our trip. We were lost, again, we had passed this place so when we turned around we just decided to stop. The weather was beautiful...so we ate outside. The owner did not speak English but by hand motions and pointing we chose our meals. (A buzzing sound does not mean mosquito in France. We had really nice house red wine and my meal was a grained bread with goat cheese, prosciutto and honey, a little apple compote on the side and a nice salad. It was heaven. This restaurant is not in St. Remy but somewhat close, more in the countryside down one f those plane tree lined roads.
