La Grange de l'Ile

The location is lovely, featuring outdoor seating and a friendly dog welcoming guests near the vineyard. Unfortunately, the food was average in quality and expensive.

The restaurant was extremely disappointing. They did not provide napkins or ice in the water, and the staff was very unprofessional, even spilling food on my pants. To make matters worse, there was a stray dog running around the tables.

The service at this restaurant was appalling. The food was subpar and the management was disgraceful. Despite being the first to arrive for the evening, it took an hour for our order to be taken. We were not provided with bread while we waited and had to request it ourselves. The waitstaff were friendly but untrained, often seeming confused. I witnessed a customer open a bottle of wine while the waiter stood by helplessly. The situation became more frustrating when we brought up an issue with a dish, only to be dismissed by the owner/manager. After begrudgingly agreeing to waive the fee for the uneaten meal, no effort was made to make up for the subpar dish. As we left, the owner continued to argue with us, insisting that he was always right and that his other customers were all satisfied. Avoid this place at all costs.

Beautiful setting and beautiful dining room. The positive stops there. The service is poor and slow, even if the service staff has a nice smile. food really leaves to be desired. we did not receive everything on the host table (we were never served coffee, yet understood). We were 5 and one of the meals was unmeanable. When we reported the problem to the manager, he treated us as liars and a crisis, to the point where he even assaulted a lady in our group by grabbing her by the arm. No way to fix it. and, even though he promised not to charge for this execable meal, he billed us for a tiny salad and a clear soup $13! a avoid at all costs.Nice scenery and wonderful location. but that's all. this is an awful establisment where the manager does know the meaning of customer service. when told - politely - that one of the meals was not palatable, he started by accusing us of lying then completely lost it. to the point that he grabbed a woman in our group by the arm and screamed obsenities. we were dumbfounded. even if he promised to not charge for the one meal, he still charged for the skimpy salad and watery supp, $13. avoid at all costs.
