Applebee's Saint Petersburg

The service was great. Our server Heather was outstanding. She was beyond courteous to our group. Her attention to our table even when your restaurant was crowded showed her commitment to customer service. I was in front out of town and your restaurant reminded me of the diner back home.

It's your typical reheated bagged food you can expect from Applebee's. It wasn't terrible, it wasn't fantastic. It was just above microwave dinner quality. Which is what I paid for. Service was fine. Table was no more dirty than usual. A couple sticky spots left after they half butt wiped it down with a wet rag. You're guaranteed a generic and basic dining experience, with minimal hiccups.

Best Applebee's in the Tampa and St. Petersburg area. Food comes out hot, fresh, and tasty. Alcoholic drinks were well-balanced and refreshing. Management was present and engaged. Very busy, but everything under control. What a wonderful experience.

And was not recognized for 10 min. then sat on the bar, made eye contact with the two barkeepers and was not welcomed or recognized yet. they were not in a state of haste, they simply did not realize that I sat in their facility, waited for money to spend.

Came at 11 o'clock. I've never seen a bartender who was so beaten and angry at me. no greeting when I came in, no smile or professionalism, zero. had just participated in the work and wanted to enjoy a few drinks and an app. it was so lame. bartender disappeared about 15 minutes. a guy came in and waited for the bar for a long time without a gruß, soak order, nothing. I finally got up and went to the kitchen where I asked one of the server to get someone to get out and take the soaking order of this guy. a few minutes passed and she came out. no excuse, no smile. very rough and unacceptable to not mention that the one I had smudged was weak and watered down. bad vibes. disappointed.
