Bidra med feedbackThis is the best brewing patio in Minnesota period. So much space and colors and artifacts! It?s the best spot to come and have a couple of drinks on a Friday evening! The beer selection is good, and the pizza is also really good. Would definitelyrecommend for a fun date or a hang out spot
Awesome brewery tucked away in historic buildings. Super cool beer garden with eclectic and relaxed feel. We ordered the Drunken Pig pizza and it was amazing. Like a loaded baked potato pizza. The staff was fantastic?attentive and super friendly, especiallyto my toddler that joined us.
Lovely amazing outdoor patio (dog friendly! with an absurd number of plants jammed in between various types of tables and decor. That this brewery is housed in the husk of the former Hamm's factory sounds odd, but St Paul Brewing added so much lifeand personality into the site that it becomes their own. I thought the pizzas were excellent along with the house root beer
What the hell is this place? And how do I make it my home?! Flat Earth, now St Paul Brewing, is always a reliable yummy brew choice. Been drinking every year when we visit MSP. But this masterpiece. What the H-E-Double hockey sticks!? In the formerHamm's brewery (that alone is a cool as heck fact), walk through the doors, order a beer, and continue to the back patio.Massive with endless nooks and crannies, you'll find a gold mine of visual interest and design mastery. An aesthetic partAmerican Pickers part Flea Market Flip part abandoned warehouse part back street Lebanon. So many things. Daytime is surelycool, but hit the patio up after the sun goes down and the string lights glow... and what is that? A canoe on fire?! Pure beer???? magic.
The staff was amazingly helpful, friendly and accommodating. The patio is a must see. The flowers and greenery are unmatched by any brewery nationally. I mean the gardener does an exquisite job! It 's a huge area that can accommodate over a 100 people andis well spread out with many different seating ootionsm The pizza is also very good, although I found the prices charged weredifferent than the menu prices (I was overcharged some significantly. Given the inflationary environment, I chose not to sayanything about it, but perhaps I should have). The beer unfortunately needs improvement for this to be a higher rated place.Their porters are good, but the other beers were below average for a microbrewery. The other patrons make people watching veryinteresting. There 's a real wokey vibe here (which is good or bad depending on your opinions). Parking is free but severelylimited. They have a forced tip of 18%. While I can appreciate this perspective (our society is way too overly focused ontipping for everything), I believe it would be better suited to have the prices adjusted upward, and then not doing anymandatory tip. Some may say this would be a distinction without a difference, but I would be more inclined to support theconcept if the prices were all inclusive. The old building (it 's the old Hamms brewery) is chalk full of history. Definitely amust see. When the beer improves, I 'll be back!
