Baybay’s Eastside Eatery - Saint Paul

This was my first visit to the restaurant and I will definitely be returning, as the experience was quite enjoyable.

I called an hour before closing time to order an Italian beef, but the lady on the phone seemed preoccupied and told me they were out because they were closing soon. I found this response confusing and it made me question their customer service. I wanted to support this black-owned business, but I doubt they will survive if they continue to treat customers this way. They need to improve their attitude if they want to attract and retain customers. I will not be returning. Thank you.

I called an hour before they closed for a Italian beef and the lady started talking to someone else then came back to me just to tell me that she doesn't have any Italian beef because they are about to close in an hour which made no sense to me. I tried to support this black business but I'm pretty sure they won't last very long. They should fix their attitude if they want people to put money into their business. I will never go back again, thanks

I’ve never eaten here so I’m giving 3 stars just because but NO HOT DOG OR POLISH IN CHICAGO HAS KETCHUP ON IT UNLESS REQUESTED! Therefore it’s NOT CHICAGO STYLE. Please edit your menu…. ? Thank you!

I love this place!!! Such amazing food!! What an amazing hidden gem!! I'm so glad I discovered this place, I can't wait to go again!
