On the way to the coast from our house in the Dordogne we decided to stop a meal and an overnight stay and the Logis sign drew our attention. What a find... this may be one of the best meals we have in Southwest France. The owner is a quiet, almost self-cleaning man who knows and loves his food and wine and serves us with regional specialties (four possibilities, foie grass, tasty: and an excellent Tournedos rossini, followed by excellent desserts. The wine list is good and cheap and on weekends it offers seafood specialities. On the main road in the village the inconceivable facade could easily be missed, but this is a restaurant to remember. The hotel rooms are comfortable if not over large, but if an excellent meal and a good night with the parking is safely parked in front of a quiet road what you want, then this is the place where it is a good stop from point on the way to Bordeaux and the Atlantic coast.
