Auberge-Refuge de Roybon

As a regular visitor to the Vercors, I took a group of friends for a hike with a planned stop at this Auberge. The manager is extremely friendly and there was no problem changing the menu dish to accommodate a vegetarian. The service was prompt, the food is always very good and the salads are enormous. I cannot help myself always making extra room for their home made desserts. Looking forward to coming back again soon.

It is always good to find a place that serves freshly cooked food in a beautiful rural setting. Not an extensive menu but something for everyone. And we were warmly greeted by a Frenchman (owner? who spoke perfect English.

Nice location, fine lunch and a fairly lousy blonde or howgaards white on tap. Just switched owners, the current owners are especially nice and hospital-free. 1,500 yards in the woods, so fine during a beautiful walk. But also with the car reachable. 300 mm walking. I'm curious how a night's gonna be.

Today with my husband we made a great discovery. great welcome, great service and good meals. We landed after a walk with our dog. satisfied with our wedding monniversary meal

We had booked and despite that, more tables available for 2 on terrace. Fortunately, the time has not yet been too advanced, a table has been set up for us. Unfortunately we only took one dish, the waiting time being really too long. It is absolutely necessary to review the organization, especially the days of high affluence! Too bad because the frame is nice, the good kitchen and the nice waiters!
