Bidra med feedbackNine of us, including three small children, had a couple of nice meals here, which were of a good standard, put together with some care. The Boules court next to it is a lovely bonus. Service was cheerful.
What a great simple lunch, no menus, plat du jour. there were a choice of three dishes, I had the tartare my wife the goats cheese salad. Both meals up were better than we had anticipated, service was very friendly and helpful, our waitress understood my french which is very kind of her! Desserts were equally tasty , a carafe of Rose and coffee for €40, well worth in such a lovely setting. Definitely worth the trip.
There are over 30,000 villages in France and the local bar is the focal point for communications, celebrations and the 'go to ' location of everyday village life. This bar is no exception but in a small village such as St Martin, this is the heart of the local community. Alain and Sebastion run this institution with great care and love. Year in, year out, the locals come to share both the good times and the challenging times. The menu is simple but the food is fresh and delicious. In the heat of summer, the beer and rose is cold. In winter, the red is reasonably priced and plentiful. This is a great little village with lots of animation and concerts. The local council keeps all the facilities in tip top shape. Come to this bar and sample real French life. But don 't worry about leaving your world behind because there is also free WiFi.
