El Tapatio - Saint Louis

The prices are very reasonable at this restaurant. They offer flour tortillas for tacos, but you have to request them. Be prepared to ask for takeout containers, as the food is delicious and the portions are great for leftovers. I highly recommend this place, 10/10.

Please bring back Domingo and the original staff. Domingo and his team have been looking after us for years. While the staff from the sister restaurant are great, it's just not the same without the original crew.

This place is in walking distance of my home, and I can't decide if that's a good or bad thing... because I eat here constantly. There isn't a week that goes by these days without delicious El Tapatio food. The chips are good and crunchy, not super thin. The tacos (especially on Tuesdays, when they're on special are pretty good. The Wednesday special of La Gaviota (also pictured is my favorite! So good. So cheap. Great staff. Give it a try and enjoy all the Mexican music they pipe through the speakers, appropriately replete with tuba. :

OMG the food was delicious! The margarita on the rocks was GREAT! I sat and ate and enjoyed the restaurant. The place was easy to find and the waiter was so kind!

The salsa is exceptional, the margaritas are superb, the lunch specials are fantastic, and the service is outstanding.
