McDonald's - Saint-Lô

It’s McDonald’s, but very welcome on a cold day when you have dogs and can’t go anywhere else. I have to say after two visits and even if they were incredibly busy, the service was incredibly fast and efficient. Literally after ordering on the...machines, the food came within 5 minutes each time.

Very poor service and very bad food. We often visited McDonalds, but today the experience was a shock in the collapse of standards. No friendly faces to order your food only machines we found incomprehensible and nobody there to help us. When the order arrived, parts were missing and we had to find someone to ask for help. Not easy. When the 'Souvenir' offer arrived, it was very bad quality food, thin burgers (unheard of in France! It was just an example of working on cheap ones. No good ads for Saint Lo. In the future we will avoid McDonalds.

All smiles and a little English on arrival, but both of these soon disappeared after I asked where our food waits after 29 minutes, after their timing system. After the food complained, it finally came, but it was cold. None of the staff word first listens to my complaints, so I spoke to the assistant manager and made my feelings clear. I have a full refund. Unfortunately we used this stop as a break on the way to catch a ferry in Cherbourg. After we had waited so long, we could go somewhere else and ended with two hungry guys on the ferry back to England.

We arrived for a Mcflurry and that seemed a very clean and well-used McDonalds, running efficiently and able to deal with a great order. There seemed a lot of families present with equipment for children to play and eat. A good and accessible location. Friendly staff.

Its McDonald's but the staff were very helpful it was clean tidy we only stopped by for a quick lunch.
