Pho 198 - Saint-Laurent

I used to frequent Pho 198, located on Cote-des-Neiges, just a block away from my office. Their grilled chicken soup was a weekly favorite of mine and always fantastic. They had a variety of other delicious meals as well. Unfortunately, they have since closed down, which is a great loss for me.

Pho 198 is located in an unassuming area near St Joseph's Oratory in Cotes-des-Niege, and offers a satisfying bowl of Pho and other Vietnamese dishes. The restaurant is popular among locals for its generous portions and reasonable prices. The atmosphere is simple and diner-like, but the staff is friendly and efficient. The wine and beer selection is limited, but adequate for the menu. Despite receiving slightly different orders than requested, the food was still tasty and filling. Overall, a good option if you're looking for a budget-friendly Vietnamese meal.

Came here for cocktail hour with some friends, the place is busy so we waited 30 mins to be seated.

I went to this restaurant for drinks after having dinner and dessert.
