A buffet that is not full, take-out may be good, but I don't try it.5min for eating and20min for waiting to change the bakeware
We ordered one whole sweet and spicy chicken #2) and one whole soy garlic chicken #3). I believe it was a fairly easy order, I clearly ordered for one #2 and one #3. When we got the order we picked it up and directly came back home. We opened the orderand it was one FRIED chicken #1) instead of the seasoned #2) that we ordered... I think it was probably an honest mistake wherethe cashier mispressed the button, since on the receipt it also says #1 and #3. We tried calling about 10 times in differenttimes and it went directly to voicemail. We decided to just make our own sauce and eat it, but were quite disappointed. When weordered about few months ago, they also have mistaken our order. We ordered normal seasoned chicken with bones) and we got aboneless sweet and spicy chicken. Is it maybe the change of owner/manager that makes them make more mistakes...? We used toorder take out from here for 5 years and it wasn't like this before. We also realize that they used to give pickled radish andsalad with the orders before, but now it's extra . Edit : the manager called me after this review. He was kind, we had a niceconversation and he explained to me that they had a new waitress today and he apologized. He delivered us sweet and spicychicken, and service dumplings and 2 beers on top of that as you can see in the photo! We understood one more time that it wasan honest mistake. We appreciated the call and are rectifying the review! We will definitely go back again. Thank you.
Korean BBQ in colder weather! We were in the area and decided to try Mon Ami. When we arrived, the restaurant wasn't very busy, and the service was excellent. While the buffet menu has been slightly reduced, all the popular items are still there. I noticed that the marinade seemed a bit sweeter than usual this time. Nonetheless, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal, and it's worth mentioning that fountain soft drinks are included in the buffet price.
I ordered the ????, but there was only one piece of ?? in the soup. Is this normal? The chicken should have been cut before frying, but it wasn’t. I’ve been living in Korea for seven years and have never had Korean food like this. I usually go to the Mon Ami downtown branch in Montreal, and I've never had any problems there. I was in the Saint Laurent area today (July 25, 2022, at 6 PM), so I decided to try this place, but I will never return again.
They only give customers two hours, but it took forever to receive our food, and we often received items we hadn't ordered. The meat arrived first, but the vegetables were forgotten and came much later. 1. The free soft drink and lettuce are not listed on the menu, so it's time for an update. 2. The service was slow; not all the staff were inefficient, but the Indian girl was really quick and helpful when needed. She seemed to be the only one with any energy. It also felt like there was a major bottleneck in the kitchen. 3. The salmon I ordered was not fresh at all—definitely the worst salmon I've ever tasted. I can only give this place 2 stars, primarily due to the performance of the Indian girl and the tasty bulgogi beef and noodles. Given the prices, I expect a much better experience!
